It’s also an opportunity to meet new people and to hang out with friends.” – Brendan Vroom ’15 “I started skateboarding in 8th grade when one of my closest friends introduced me to it.” – Brendan Vroom ’15 “I started skating in 8th grade. The night before we would pack like 10 sandwiches for the three of us and countless water bottles. We’d bring a camera and hit 3-5 different spots all day. We, luckily, live 45 minutes away from one of the best skate city’s in the world and in these trips to SF we could hit some of the most notorious spots in all of skateboarding.” – Colin Harrington ’15 “Skateboarding has been progressing at such a rapid rate, it is insane what people are doing now a days.” -Nathan Ruttenberg ’15 “The most memorable moment in skateboarding for me is probably when I kick flipped the laurel elementary school 5 stair for the first time. It felt so epic at the time” – Nathan Ruttenberg ’15 “It all started in 6th grade when all of my friends were talking about skateboarding so I decided to try it out. It started out as skating by myself in my backyard learning Ollie’s and landing my first kick flip and eventually I started skating with my friends out in the streets.” – Nathan Ruttenberg ’15 Related 11 Continue Reading Previous: BSU hosts dance competitionNext: Aragon’s Got Talent 3 thoughts on “Photo feature: Skateboarding” Colin Harrington Reply Nathan Ruttenberg Brendan Vroom Reply Da boys Reply Leave a Reply to Annika UlrichCancel reply Related Stories Halloween Rally 1 min read Photos Halloween Rally November 3, 2022 Boeing 737 Max resumes flight 1 min read Photos Boeing 737 Max resumes flight January 13, 2021 Facing cabin fever?
