Audience

  • Papers mailed to all Aragon families for the 2020-2021 school year (1,600 students, 76 faculty).
  • Distributed to local restaurants, coffee shops, libraries and community centers in both San Mateo and Foster City.

  • Discounts can be provided at the Outlook’s discretion if clients purchase multiple ads at once.
  • For advertisements that are not immediately ready to print and need to be altered for print and layout, there will be a charge of $25 per hour for preparation time. (The 5% discount for five or more prepaid issues would also apply to this fee.)
  • If you don’t yet have an advertisement ready to be published, don’t worry! We would be happy to design one for you.

Editorial Calendar for 2020-2021

Due to campus closures, our printing schedule for the 2020-2021 academic school year has not been solidified. We plan on printing, at least, one 16+ page edition in December, which will be distributed to all Aragon families. Please direct any further questions regarding advertising or our editor calendar to aragonoutlook@gmail.com.

Technical specifications

File format

  • PDF is preferred.
  • EPS and AI are acceptable.
  • JPEG, PNG, PSD, or others are accepted but not recommended.

Color space

Ads are printed on black and white pages. If your ad is in color, we will convert it to grayscale, but we encourage you to do this yourself to ensure you are satisfied with the ad’s appearance.

Resolution

  • 300 dpi is recommended.
  • Lower resolutions may diminish print quality.

Dimensions

  • Ad files should match the dimensions of the purchased space.
  • If the provided file does not match the ad space’s dimensions and is submitted before the soft deadline, we can make the appropriate layout/design corrections at our standard rate of $25 per hour.
  • If you instead choose to use the ad as-is (or if you submit it after the soft deadline), the advertisement will be scaled proportionally such that neither width nor height exceed the purchased ad space.
