After 20 years of not having a dance class, Aragon has launched a new dance program with 30 students. The program includes both experienced and beginner dancers, as well as the Aragon Dance team. The class will be putting on Aragon’s first-ever dance performance on May 17 in the Aragon theater. Guest choreographers will help out in order to teach the students different dance genres, add to their dance experience and, ultimately, unlock their talent in the performance.
Choreographers from different organizations, such as Jenna Monroe from Requisite Dance Company, JC Caoile from Str8jacket and Ayako Tagahashi from Ayako Ballet have contributed different dance pieces for the performance. Dance teacher Michelle Murphy and the students have also added their own unique choreography to the lineup.
