Disappointing to see a great tradition stopped. We all have our different paths after college and I believe it is important and fun to celebrate and recognize the diversity of our campus and the different places in the world we are headed. 2 year colleges are a great option for many people and in no way are they inferior to 4 year colleges. The map is a way to celebrate and recognize where we are going, not to make anyone feel bad. I know many people headed to community colleges and not one of them has shame in their decision. Also, to see this change be suggested by someone who isn’t even graduating this years makes this even more frustrating. We have worked hard to get into the schools we are attending and it is truly disappointing to see this. I hope the right decision is made to return to the traditional map.
